Tea Party at Icery Shelter

February 26, 2011
In our belief that  young active citizens can take collective action towards our social responsibility, JCI Curepipe is organising its first Community Development Project – A Tea Party at the Shelter for Women & Children in Distress (Icery, Curepipe) on Sunday6th of March 2011 as from 14:30 to 17:00.
The Project Team, Project Director Lenita Sooknah and myself have the immense pleasure to invite you to join us on that day to show our support to these children.

We aim at spending some quality time with the children by organising fun games and having refreshments together. Distribution of gifts packs to each kid is planned as well.

Note: We would also like to donate clothes to the shelter and I am thus, making an appeal to all JCI Members to help us in this humble contribution. The clothes can be new or used ones but should be in good conditions.Icery shelter girls who are in the age range of 1 to 19yrs.

JCI Members who are willing to help us, can contact Lenita Sooknah (Project Director) on 774-8325 or myself on 759-2691 so that we can arrange the collection of these clothes. A kind request to contact us before 4th March 2011.

Kindly find attached the teaser for more details.

Let us all contribute to bring a smile in the lives of these children.
