With a view to commemorate the World Health Day 2012- Ageing and Health, JCI Curepipe proudly announces its second Community Development event to be held on Saturday 21 April 2012 at 14 00 – 15 30 at Sainte Coeur de Marie Residential Home in Curepipe. 

It is fundamental to note that The World Health Day is a global campaign, which aims at focusing on a single health challenge with global impact. Focusing on new and emerging health issues, World Health Day provides an opportunity to start collective action to protect people’s health and well-being.

Therefore, in line with the World Health Day 2012 theme “Good health adds life to years”, JCI Curepipe will be planning a short visit to the Sainte Coeur de Marie Residential Home and thereby spending some quality time with the elderly residents of the home over a cup of tea. On the same occasion, a PC will be donated to the home by the organizing team.

For all those who missed the “Let’s bring Sunshine to our Elders” event at Flic en Flac, here’s a golden opportunity to join the team to bring some joy, happiness and cheer up the day of these ladies.

The “Let bring Sunshine to Our Elders” and “Health Campaign 2012” team will be delighted to see you all there to bring a smile in the lives of these elderly persons.
