JCI Curepipe Health Campaign 2012 – Awareness on Breast and Cervical Cancer

July 30, 2012

“Cancer is the top most major health threat after diabetes and cardiovascular diseases in Mauritius and despite the very fact, very few people are aware of its symptoms.  It is an aggressive disease but if it’s caught early there is every chance of survival. Therefore it is necessary that the public is continuously made aware of early symptoms, signs and treatment facilities that are provided to enable effective therapy.”

In this connection JCI Curepipe would like to invite you to an Awareness Session on “Breast and Cervical Cancer” which is being held under the theme “Santé +, Prévention avant tout”  on Saturday 4th August, from 09.45am-Noon at the Eau Coulée Community Centre. The event will focus on educating people, mostly women, in the local community on the different types/causes/prevention of cancer and emphasise on the importance of early detection .

This event is a joint initiative with Link to Life.

Let’s support the fight against cancer and be part of the cure.

Please extend this invitation to your family, relatives, and friends.

Take Care Lepep!
