JCI Mauritius launched one of its flagship projects, JCI TOYP (The Outstanding Young Person) in 1986, and is this year celebrating the 26th Anniversary of this JCI Mauritius Program. JCI TOYP formally recognizes young individuals that excel in their chosen path in life and who are seen as role models for other young people.

And over the past 26 years, JCI Mauritius has been recognizing young active citizens, who promoted business or entrepreneuriat, who lead by example; who promoted culture, who contributed to children, world peace and / or human rights, amongst others.

 This year, JCI Mauritius, has once again launched this program on Thursday 12th April at Café du Vieux Conseil under the theme ‘Zetwal Nou ti Zil’.

The JCI Mauritius National President, National Board Members, Project Director of TOYP, Sandy Suntoo, and the organizing team are pleased to invite ALL JCI members to play an active role in the 2012 edition of TOYP either by sending their own application or nominating someone they deem to be THE ‘Zetwal Nou ti Zil’.

The nomination and declaration form can be downloaded under the download section. You will also find all literature pertaining to the 2012 edition of TOYP on the website.
